Our teachers will meet you where you are and give you appropriate options for challenging yourself (or not), depending on what you need on any given day.

  • We’re at 1364 Welsh Road in North Wales, PA - just around the corner from the Trader Joes shopping Center.

    We’re super close to Ambler, Blue Bell, Chalfont, Montgomeryville, Lansdale, Spring House, and Horsham.

  • We have lots of beginners like you, and suggest starting with our Gentle Flow or All Levels Yoga class. These classes include all the most essential yoga poses, guided at a very keep-up-able pace to give you time to find your way into poses.

    Like anything, learning something new takes time and patience and it’s natural for the movements to feel unfamiliar at first. Keep at it, and after a few classes, you’ll feel like you’re “in the groove.”

  • Check out our Kindred Flow or Flow class. These classes are strengthening and energizing, with a nice dose of relaxation at the end. Every class at Kindred Yoga emphasizes mindfulness, good form, and accessibility for various levels of practitioners. You’ll see creative sequences of poses, with options for you to do yoga the way you need to on any given day.

  • All of our classes will help you de-stress, but you’ll especially love our Gentle Flow or Gentle Flow + Restore classes. These classes blend a touch of movement, strength, and balance work with gentle stretches and relaxing poses - at a more laid-back pace than our other flow classes. Our Gentle Flow + Restore classes have a little extra emphasis on relaxation.

  • The warmest welcome you’ve ever received, like you’re walking into a good friend’s living room. After that, we’ll have a short form for you to fill out, then we’ll show you around and get you settled in the practice room with all the props you need for the class. You’ll notice our students are super-friendly too, and love welcoming new people.

  • That’s totally natural, and we get it. If you can imagine a place that’s zero-judgment, totally unpretentious, and oozing with warmth and kindness - that’s Kindred Yoga. And our only mission is to help you learn yoga in a way that is empowering and supportive. We promise you’ll feel great being here the moment you arrive.

  • Absolutely - and you’ll fit right in here. In fact, many people choose Kindred Yoga because of our accessible approach to yoga. Our teachers are specifically trained to provide movement options for students who are working beyond injuries (of course we suggest clearing it with a medical professional first). If you’re just coming back to movement, we suggest starting with a Gentle Flow class or a Private session before diving into more vigorous classes.

  • Yes. Pre-booking is required because our classes are small, and we limit class sizes even further to give people a comfortable amount of space.

  • You could bring a yoga mat and a water bottle. But if you don’t have a mat we have plenty to lend you free of charge. We have all the props you’ll need, and we’re very particular about cleaning everything between uses. We also have water and complimentary tea available.
